I think what sets apart ExCx from any other vegan sxe bands(are there any others?) is the passion and pride that is basically invisible in the hardcore scene today. Crass stood for animal rights (and probably the founding band to really address the "meat is murder" ethic) and have some passion to what was being said in thier lyrics , but crass is a whisper compared to the atomic bomb that is Earth Crisis. I haven't been vegan or vegetarian for almost 10 years now(call me a sellout, but life is short and cows are delicious) but I got goose bumps when I heard "vegan for life"! Being an old fart now, I'm not sure if I would go see them at this time in there career, but who knows.
