Megadeth Contest

In honor of Megadeth’s eminent return to the States to shred your ears off, we’re offering up the first-ever Reviews/Resist contest. No, we’re not giving away the most bad-ass guitar of all time… we kept that shit for ourselves. What we do have up for grabs, is a Megadeth party-pack so to speak. Thanks to the folks at WMG, we have a 2′x2′ (mounted) Endgame canvas to metal-up your dorm room/garage/practice space wall.
As if that weren’t enough, we’re also throwing in a “Rust in Peace” license plate frame (supposedly looks great on Camaros), a Vic Rattlehead patch to cover the cigarette burns on your jean jacket, and last but not least, a copy of Rust in Peace on cassette. Vinyl might be all the rage, but let’s not forget… Megadeth probably wouldn’t be where they are today if it weren’t for dudes my age and their Walkmans. Leave this bad-boy laying around your house or car, and you’ll be rounding second base in no time.
The rules of the contest are pretty simple… just comment or twitter @reviewsresist your favorite Megadeth lyric of all time. After two weeks, we’ll choose a winner at random and send you the big box-o-deth. Fine print below.
Good Luck!
Contest runs until 11-1-09.
Participants must live in the continental United States and have a valid email & residential address.
(P.O. Boxes are not acceptable).

Symphony of Destruction…..
you try to take his pulse, before the head explodes.
I thought he was saying take his balls…(conformity, etc).
I still sing it that way of course.

“All these years I thought I was wrong, now I know it was you! Raise you head, raise your face your eyes
tell me, who you think you are?” – In My Darkest Hour

Did you ever think I get lonely?
Did you ever think that I needed love?
Did you ever think, stop thinking
You’re the only one that I’m thinking of?
You’ll never know how hard I tried
To find my space and satisfy you too
Things will be better when I’m dead and gone
Don’t try to understand, knowing you, I’m probably wrong
(In My Darkest Hour got me through a lot of rough times since it came out!)
