Decibel Magazine Contest

Posted by admin On November 23rd, 2009

Decibel - January 2010Since the response to our Megadeth contest was such a resounding success, we wanted to put something extra special together and see if we could top ourselves this time around (if that’s humanly possible).

We know you all listen to metal, which means more than likely, you’re broke as fuck. So what better than offer up a FREE one-year subscription to our favorite metal magazine (featuring actual writers!)

We tried contacting Circus, Hit Parader, RIP, and Metal Edge, but none of them seem to be returning our e-mails. Luckily, the fine folks at Decibel Magazine do.

So… In honor of Decibel’s generosity and 6th annual “Top 40 of the Year” issue, all that’s required is that you drop a comment below or on Twitter @reviewsresist letting us know your favorite metal album of 2009. Yes, it’s that easy (keep in mind, if you mention A-Lex, you’re officially out of the contest). We’ll be selecting a winner at random in a couple weeks, so get on with your commenting.

Good Luck!

Contest runs until 12-7-09.
One entry per person
Participants must have a valid email & mailing address.

Also, be sure and check out Decibel’s super-exclusive issue, The Top 100 Albums of the Decade to see where St. Anger falls in.

UPDATE: We have a winner! We’ll be sending out an e-mail shortly for confirmation and to get your mailing address. Thanks again to those who participated!
