R.I.P. Mat Arluck

Mat Arluck - Fireside Bowl 2004Our heartfelt condolences go out the the friends, family and bandmates of Mat Arluck, guitar player for Chicago heavyweights Sweet Cobra, and bassist for Stabbed By Words, who passed away recently after a long battle with cancer.

Though, I didn’t know Mat on a personal level, the few times I chatted with him at shows, he seemed like a stand-up guy… and one who certainly knew how to bring the riff. He will be missed.
